If not mistaken you use SB6120 mas target so there is no need for new XML. You can create your own is you would rather have SB6121 as a target option since it is really easy to do......andy m wrote:just need the XML people will be happy

DUDE, If you are going to connect Wire 1 of USBJTAG NT to the ISP point, then YOU DO NOT NEED EXTERNAL POWER TO THE FLASH.sb5101e wrote:USBJTAGNT TO SB6121
This figure alone 3.3V does not need

What I am saying here is that if R153 is in fact the ISP Point then there is NO NEED to supply External power to the SPI Flash to Read it. Unless of course, R153 IS NOT the ISP point and he was just asking if it was.......andy m wrote:1 connect all 6 wired to the NT power up the mobo
2 Do the same but 6 wires but solder the wire to pin 2 on the chip and use 3.3 volt gain access to the dump
Its very difficult to say with the OP, as he does not do a good job at being completely clear on his Posts so all we can do is Try our best to understand what it is he is Asking and reply accordingly......

So the Picture you loaded IS NOT THE ISP POINT? If so you should had made that CLEAR so members here don't think that is the ISP Point. On the Other hand if it is Confirmed to be the ISP Pont then you DON'T NEED to provide external Power to SPI Flash. If you DON'T Know the ISP Point and Don't want to Risk damage to Modem trying to find, Then Using the External Power method is the way to GO....................sb5101e wrote:,
