What you Mean By ( Genuine Breed ) That does not say anything.

Is it the Original USBJTAG ( First Gen / No Longer Supported) Or Is it the USBJTAG NT, Currently Supported?????

When he said usbjtag.def it is old JTAG. Not NT. NT starts to use XML as its configuration. If we still use def file the file can be quite big and hard to manage.

bump.

Hello team,

I did end up getting a usbjtagNT, and i have it set in the 430w mode
this is my console window..

Target: AR430W
-detect
IDCODE 00000001
Atheros AR2316
IMPCODE 40404000
EJTAG V1, V2.0
DMA not supoorted
Unknown flash type!
Report these values http://www.usbjtag.com/vbforum 87,01,00

could anyone help me make the files i need so i can jtag this thing? the cpu (ar2316) i thought was big endian, but in the xml for the ar430w it says little.. im not sure on that part.

or, if anyone could point me to the thread i need to read to get started that would be cool too.

thanks in advance for any help or resources!

edit:: i hit the detect button now and i see this
-detect
IDCODE 00000001
Atheros unknown 7EB97F77
IMPCODE 40404000
EJTAG V1, V2.0
DMA not supoorted
Unknown flash type!
Report these values http://www.usbjtag.com/vbforum 77,7f,b9
