saw the answer after my post here on the forum from Koevoet:
With the release of the official build now out , you may find that it will not open on this distro , with it being a 32bit application , so you may beed to install the 32bit library , if you check in terminal you will find the specific error.
In my case it was the libusb-1.0.so.0 file. So in order to rectify this i did the following :
1. Installed getlibs from here > http://frozenfox.freehostia.com/cappy/
2. After this installed opened up a terminal in root and used the following
Code:
getlibs -l libusb-1.0.so.0
once installed rebooted and all was ok.
Regards
it's a deb file so just double click it install reboot
then sudo getlibs -l libusb-1.0.so.o
