Does anyone know if this 3m test clip that works on a sb6120, will it also work on a dpc3000? A friend on mine is getting the dpc3000 and was asking.

Has anyone tried these test clips, it is supposed to be modified for softer springs?
My 3m pins just broke, so now looking for new improved one.

Not sure if this will work for 6120, it says 8 way, the one I had before is 16 way

I Have. They claim less Spring tention, I did not notice any difference and Just as Bad as the Ponomo Brand. In fact IMHO The Ponomo is of way Better Quality.

They do sell on E Bay. I have Tryed them But Don't Like them. You get very Limited Use out of them. I rather Solder the Wires. More Work But less Chance of Bricking Modem.

mr. sky, are you just looking for a new 3m test clip only, if so, PM me for info. Yes, it needs to be a 16 pin depending on the device.

BTW, the 3m 16 pin clip fits the sb6120 and dpc3000 perfectly but the spring tension needs to be modified.

this is pure awesomeness!!

I have been struggling to keep the isp pin in place while reading/writting my sb6120....I would really really hate frying my jtagnt as its brand new (been a week since it's arrived) BUT I am willing to take the risk to make this mod work.

If I understand correctly you are getting 5v from the jtagnt which powers up the modem and you dont need the isp pin touching the R362 on the back of sb6120? ...Do you still need to connect the power adapter of the modem??
More importantly, where do you solder on the jtagnt ?? it is concealed in the pictures, a high res photo would be greatly appreciated!

cheers

PS. I think all jtagnt should come with this mod "pre-installed", so you don't void your warranty when opening it up, but that's just me ;)
