there is a guide to help me set this router since it does not recognize the moden and what firmware I need and where do I get it. thanks .

As far as i am aware this is just a router , it is not a modem/router.

You will only be able to program original firmware on here as dd-wrt is not compatable with this router due to the CFE.

If your CFE is intact , you can get the original firmware from the netgear site and re-program with NT.

The USBJTAG Software is Pretty Straight Foward DUDE.
