Having a problem with my USBBDM NT
I got the bdm a while ago and gave it a try but wasn't able to get it to work. So I picked it back up yesterday and still wasn't able to geet a proper read fram and of the boxes I have. All of them are dct2224/1661/abcdefg 2 ph8 and one ph7
I tried 2 different versions of the usbjtag software but they seem to be doing the same thin. After connecting the bdm, powering up the box, then open the software. I type dct2224 in the command section. While the software goes to the dct2224 menu, the box makes a click sound and becomes unresponsive. Any file I read and save are filled with zeros and if I try and write to it it comes up with an error ending with 0000, 0000
Thank you

Thank you for the reply bdm
The receiver isn't in "0" state... If powerd compleyty up and tuned on it has a valid channel number on the display.
I tried the steps you pointed out and this is the output from it.

I have also tried the steps outlined here but get teh same results.

The bdm is pluged in through a usb2.0 hub
I will also try through my old xp laptop right now.

I hadn't noticed that....
Then it looks like I have an activation problem.
I have my computer hooked directly with my cable modem and I just requested my activation code yesterday, and I received it in an e-mail.
When I click tools then activattion all the information looks good. If I click activate online or ok, nothing happens.
Thanks
