problem changing uid with bdmnt

Post by cablecowboy »

I just got me bdm nt today and actived it. I have done a 2224 before with regular bdm. The problem I have is this
Copyright http://www.usbjtag.com 2008,2009,2010
USB BDM NT 0.36
-R
-reset 1
-R
-init
-getram nvram
Time 00:00:00 (.734)
-getram code
Time 00:00:04 (.625)
-flshdct code
Found Address= 00400000 Intel 28F160C3B
-firm
Firmware not supported

I have also tried clicking firmware test same error (firmware not supported)
I read in another post you have to cut the c105 but this dct2224/1661/ACDEGK ph7 does not have the resister there. I see the c105 circle with 2 solder points but no resister.

What is wrong?

After 10 hours with the cable line plugged in, still no update. Still 7.72 firmware. Seems i'm talking to myself here. I own this box but its still a subbed box. I did see the firmware section and seems i can update the firmware myself. What is the latest firware for ph7? and will doing this mess up my box?

Ask your local friend and see what platform they use. Your firmware is too old and not popular.
Then manually program the platform and you will then get synced with your CC.

Your firmware must be too old to get auto update. Manually program the firmware version that matches your CC.
