USBBDM Versus USBJtag??
Hey guys, what is the difference between USBBdm versus USBJtag on these DCT2500 boxes? Which one is the one to use to flash/backup the bins?

Re: DCT boxes 2500 = 2244??
Actually, its confusing... The front of these boxes all say DCT2500, but at the bottom of the box it says DCT2524... are these all the same thing?

DCT2500 and DCT2524 are the same thing as far as the USB JTAG. 2500 is the the model and 24 means the feature. (I know if it is 44 then you have a build in telephone modem).virus.b wrote:Actually, its confusing... Re: Cloning any Diff with 2524 versus 2244?
Thanks for the useful tips, guys! You guys are awesome! Regarding these 2524 models, lets say if my friend has a "subbed" 2524, can I borrow his unit, and then just clone the NVram, and able to get all the channels that he currently has on his subbed box? Do I also need to clone the firmware too, or just the NVRam is fine?
