how to clone 2500 nvram to 2224

would one of you guys be so kind to show me the steps. i have both bdm/jtag. i dont want mess up my cc box. i have a dct 2224 that has premiums but the channel map is off alittle. i think if i use nvram i should get propper map. does it need to be the same firmware ver? thanks for your help.

getram nvram
save nvram



open nvram tool ...... choose setting left side 2000 right side 2500
load each nvram 2000 first then 2500 then copy mask from 2500 to 20000
there is a option there to copy channel then put -1 afther you did that save nvram the saved nvram should be loaded into usbbdm then setram only 10000 like setram 200000 10000
