how many run their 3xxx/6xxx unmodified?

just got a test box and it's running great so far. love the hd and dvr capability. i read up about the hardware mod and tried it out but I couldn't really get used to not having guide or dvr. i was thinking of running it without the hardware mod and was wondering how many people here do just that.

I run unmodified because mine is subbed and pay every month lol
I would imagine you can run without hardware mod until your area sends out the next hit (every 3 to 6 months where I'm at) then what are you going to do?

hit as in unathuth or nvram corruption? my dct2500 gets corrupted nvram every so often and i just reload the nvram and it's back up. same thing?

if you get one from different node and program the right nvram will work for a while depends if lucky,.... but lately i noticed they joining all areas into one single plan. once complete wont work the dvr will report back and once shows red active flag u done.
