I found one CG814W v2. Use UJmodem, select SGB900, I can get the mac and eth address. No further testing on this modem.

CG814WG V2

UJmodem detects and reads and will verify.Any write function bricks modem.Use method
below to debrick.

detect
IDCODE 0334917F
Broadcom BCM3349
IMPCODE 00800904
DMA supoorted
Found Address= 9fc00000 Intel 28F640J3
getram 9fc00000 400000
-ERASE 9FC00000 400000
Erase starts...
Erase time 00:00:21 (.843)
-LDRAM 9FC00000
-SPROGRAM 9FC00000 400000
Program Starts...
Program speed 49.60 KB/s
Program time 00:01:24 (.703)
Program pass, if no further programming needed, power off/on the target
Above gets the modem back but does not write App.

Did this to get back to stock.
-LDRAM 9FC00000 (backup) :)
-PROGRAM 9FC00000 400000
Erase starts...
Erase time 00:00:22 (.609)
Program speed 324.99 KB/s
Program time 00:00:12 (.515)
Program pass, if no further programming needed, power off/on the target

Edited the backup, found original mac 13 times in cfg.Changed to good working mac
and wrote back to modem.

Modem will not aquire downstream and gives mac as 00 09 5b de ad 01(not mac I used) :(

sbg900 noshell also bricks modem.

You have detect the flash to be 8M but you only programmed 4M. It will be miracle if you do not brick it.
You must DEFINE properly to use it.
Why you have selected UJmodem when it is not declared to support that modem yet?

Sorry,I didn't know you were the only one that could TEST this modem.I was just trying to get some more useful information. If I brick it,nothing gained nothing lost!

dragonmas, what he's saying is that you would have to add CG814W support to the software in order for that device to work with UJModem. Selecting another predefined device can brick it.

Yes I understand this and I know full well that I could brick the modem, but bricking a modem is not really a concern. If you look at the quote why would it be said to use UJmodem. My intention was just gather some more understanding.
