Give me the full 8M flash and I might add this to next release of UJmodem. Change mac or even cert support.

If I am not mistaken this modem can be programmed. I have one in the closet looks like this modem and I can re-verify if it is exact model. This is 8pin JTAG. Follow the NT software to connect it properly and you will be able to JTAG it.

OKm the one I have is CG814WG V2. Is that what you want to support? I can add this to the UJmodem and being able to change mac on it.
BTW. This is from Comcast and was donated by an old gentle man.

Use USB JTAG NT software to find the pin connection.

I mean 8 pin to 14 pin connect diag gram is on the USB JTAG NT software.
http://usbjtag.com/jtagdevices/dpc2100.php is another 8 pin which is exact the same as the NetGear modem.
When you say not detected? What is not detected? The CPU or the flash? Cut and paste your output can tell what is the problem.

I made a adapter to config pins and can detect and read/verify correctly but can't seem to change the mac.I read, verfiy change mac, write but mac address does not change.I read after the write and still get orginal mac.??
Found answer, use apply(config) instead of write to change mac.
