Sb4200 detects in Usbjtag but not in Ujmodem

Post by cablehackernoob »

Whenever i try to detect my sb4200 in ujmodem i het this message.
-detect
IDCODE 00000000
ADM ADM5120
IMPCODE 00000000
EJTAG V1, V2.0
DMA supoorted
Unknown flash type!
Report these two value to http://www.usbjtag.com/vbforum 0000,0000

However when i detect in Usbjtag i get. detect

Broadcom BCM3345
IMPCODE 00800908
EJTAG V1, V2.0
DMA supoorted
Found Address= 9fc00000 TC58FVT160

Here is where the real problem is. I was able to flash modem twice with ujmodem about a month ago and flashed it 3 times with usbjtag when ujmodem stopped detecting the modem, but now when i program with usbjtag this is the rusult i get
-detect
IDCODE 0334517F

DMA supoorted

-cmpram 9fc00000 200000

On the modem i have 4 lights that are on. Power recieve send and standby. They never come off, also i have tried flashing different 2mb dumps to the modem and still get the same result. I have tried manually erasing the flash and then sprogram 9fc00000 200000 but still Compare data Failed address 9FC00000,target FF,PC memory

Can you try to lower the speed?
In NT software you can select 6M and 3M by click the speed on left. You can use "speed 1" or "speed 2" for both UJmomde or NT. Sometime the slower speed works better.

If you have the blackcat jtag you could try the blackcat soft or Jtag Utility

They work way better at debricking these Modems than the USBJTag NT. Sorry USBBDM but thats the truth. I find that the USBJTAG NT More often then Not screws these Old Modems. Never had a problem with the SB5100's and Up but with these old Modems Yes , So I stick to using etherboot to load firmware to them with out problems and blackcat to debrick them if I get a Bricked one to fix.

Never Killed a 3100.4100,4101 or 4200 with etherboot.

The modem if F&*Ked then.
You can try writeing a Backup of a Working Sb4200 And see if it gets passed that. Has worked on ocation for me. For the most part It doesn't.

It's not geting frquency. theres a full dump with hack that makes them get past this point and it does work<,,,, Down side is No matter what you do config wise you get a max of 3 Mb downloads if your that lucky. LOL

Hey TUNDRA, any luck find the Full dump that will solve the no downstream lock problem?
I have tried google but leads to dead ends.
I have also tried sending a few Pm's to SBH Members with the same problem so still keeping fingers crossed.
