SB4200 Unknown Flash Type

Broadcom BCM3345
IMPCODE 00800908
EJTAG V1, V2.0
DMA supoorted
Unknown flash type!
Report these two value to http://www.usbjtag.com/vbforum 1808,08f8

The Flash Chip says Malaysia 29LV160TE-70PFTN. Cant flash the modem....Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

try to use speed 2 and see if you get the flash.

When you start the NT application , before you do anything type speed 2 in the bottom window and press enter , then try a detection.

Anything else I can try.....Can I add the flash to the USBJtag NT list? What info do I put in when I add it to the flash list?

The value you get is NOT flash value and added to it will not help you.
It all depends on how the modem is bricked. If the modem is only soft bricked, then it will be easy. Otherwise check the hardware. I have seen people messing around the flash with solders and try to use JTAG to debrick and of course it will not work. What those values says is you have problem writing to the flash.
