Post by Hyperion »

Well I followed what Master USBBDM said in this post.

I bought the TSOP socket reader prototype with 48 pins

How I am supposed to solder the TSOP Socket reader, there's no a lot of space between the reset button and the other chip (Appears to be the SPI).

and the tip of my Iron soldering tool is too big.

I don't want to damage the plastic of the TSOP socket reader.

suggestion USBBDM? CAPONE?

Soldering this socket is a little bit difficult. You need a steady hand and good eye. This is doable. If reset button is in the way remove it first and then put it back.

I went to a stupid friend motherfucker to help me.
But now I found that he hates me, because is christian, and I am declared Atheist

so he fucked up the sb5100 and the tsopsocket.

the guy used the blower on it, even when I told to not.

I will go to a professional to help me to restore the cablemodem

I will get another sb5100
and pay for someone to solder the tsop on it, a professional.

I will go to the same guy to see if he can fix the sb5100 .
