Hi,

I just got this modem, opened it and see the motherboard is so small, then identified connections as shown in this website.

I got this results trying to detect:

Target: SB5101Mod
-detect
IDCODE 87878787
Manufacturer not found 3C3
-detect
IDCODE 3C3C3C3C
Manufacturer not found 61E
-detect
IDCODE E1E1E1E1
Manufacturer not found 0F0
-detect
IDCODE 0F0F0F0F
Arm ARM7TDI
IMPCODE 0F0F0F0F
Note this is 64bit MIPS,Please fix the xml file

Copyright (C) 2010-2015
USB JTAG NT 0.72
Target: SB5101
-detect

What Can I do in order to get access and read this flash?

Thanks

SB5101U needs to be tested as an SB5102MOD if you want to read and write to it. Here is the Link to connecting the USBJTAG NT to it.

CAPONE:

I just got a computer with windows xp and the UJmodem is working good with a sb5101, but with my sb5101U says "Unknown flash"... And I am using the target sb5102mod just like Capone told me.

This is just guess. You can test other device that uses reset pin to make sure the pin 11 is burnt. Only one modem might not be enough to tell if the pin 11 is burnt or not. Can you try SB6120?

You can close this post. It definitely was my cable. With the new one I read and programmed this modem without any problems!
