I have not tested 3120 and I assume it is the same as 3100. It has boot block protection and watchdog. So you need to use xml for 3100. Try to use tap c and tap a ffffffff and see if you can detect flash.

The dvi 3120 has the same flash that dvi3000. I have removed the watchdog to set the boot and also the watchdog to program the firmware. I use the xml dvi3000 and I have always worked well less yesterday.
usbjtag nt sometimes I can detect the flash and read the boot and firmware, but when I tell him I schedule it crashes .
The dvi3120 has erased the boot and corrupt the firmware.

If you are sure watchdog is removed and you can program boot then it will be similar to DCT2500.
use tap c and tap a ffffffff
then you should see DEBUG ON.
Detect see if you get the flash. If not type flshdct 9fc00000 to see if flash shows up.
If flash shows at 9fc00000 then you you should select DMABoot and use "erase" and "sprogram" the boot. Then select back the normal dvi xml.

In DCT2500 there is a jumper 200. Do you see similar jumper? This will will help to debrick.

Lord usbbdm sorry but I could not program the flash I have tried everything and I think the best solution is to change the flash of the other already scheduled. The plate 3120 has dvi smaller and has no internal power supply but external. I think the dvi 3120 are of poor quality

If you think this is dead and want to donate for me to test a new device you can donate to me. I might be able to support it in the future software.
I will use 3.3v method at last but will certainly look similar J200 (DCT2500) like solution.

Mr usbbdm I sent him a package with the dvi.
I unsolder a flash of a dvi with firmware, boot and nvram well written and tested and the soldier to another with the flash dvi broken, the result was that I wanted to update and dvi nt usbjtag not detected the flash, but solde the I thought that flash was broken and the other dvi me so well detected.
I think it's an internal fault

I unsolderd the flash of a perfectly good dvi 3120 who's flash I was able to detect with no problem. I then solderd this flash to another dvi3120 who's flash I was unable to detect. I thought that after soldering this new and well programmed flash to the broken dvi that it would work again. But no to my surprise, when I switched it on it starts to update it self (after the update it gives me an errror) and I still can't detect the flash. My next step was to solder the supposedly broken flash to the working dvi3120 and amazingly it works at first go, and lets me program it.
My conclusion is that thier must be an internal error and not because of a faulty flash.
I think that the internet company is doing something to the dvi's who have their return cut off, I think this is so becuase they often restart themselves, which dose'nt seem to do the dvi3120 any good. They also seem to heat up alot which causes them to breakdown. On the other hand the dvi3020 see to be able to cope with this a lot better.

Hello, you hAVE probably broken some component. This random response to detect is (i think) some diode, capacitor or transistor not working properly. It may be too the altera component ( or any other, sorry).
It should be interesting to know what others modifications have you in the box.
