Im returning to this problem. At this moment the USBJTAGNT was total useless.
Please help with this.
I ha a board with the sti5516 than can i read with the jkeys but not with the usbjtag.
The data readed appear repeated periodically.
The data is from the flash and appear valid.
What is wrong with this?
Which device do I have to choose which is compatible with this processor?
Thanks

Sti5517 is different than Sti5516. If you make your own XML based on Sti5516 and it will not work.
Only make right xml can you read/write the target.

I finally have on Sti5517 board in hand. It was purchased from ebay like this one
https://www.ebay.com/itm/BN41-00684A-FR ... SwrHtcOkfI
I will soon release a software that can read/write this board and hope can support all the St5517/5516 boards.

You can get the pin out connection from the software connection button. Same as other ST20 target.

My question is about the ground pin in the usbjtagnt side. Witchone pin1 or pin13 ?
I don't want to burn my usbjtagnt.

Re: sti5517
Hi,
I am trying to read a Dish IRD with STI5517 and am able with USBjtagNT to detect and read Firm, but I am not confident that what is being read is correct. I do not see anything in the dump like ird# etc. Also I have not ever been able to get "Trap On" always says trap off.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, AtoD
