dsr 470 cable receiver

hi. my small community uses a dsr470 analog/digital receiver in the home to provide cable service. i have in the past played with computer emulation,atmega and other satellite toys,but have never looked at cable receivers.i have very limited knowledge so i rely on advice. general information on the 470 can be found on the net at 'dsr 470 digital signal receiver'.if jtag or whatever would help me mess with this receiver i would appreciate any information. thanx mbj
