Sorry, I have done a lot of searching but unable to find any news about EOL for STB's, only modems. (Comcrap)household2 wrote:you can take that info right out of the box by the way its not going to help because the box will be dead in 2 months in case you haven't notice comcrap kills boxes fast
DCT2000 have 3 versions (besides the 9 phases) and out of the 3 two are obsolete. The one still active is an "agile" type which means it can search different OOB channels for data downstream. If the label ID starts with 16xx it is a good one while ID starting with 11xx or 13xx are single OOB channel boxes and are EOLs. I believe your rev is one of the EOLs based on the ROM.stomperz wrote:Sorry, I have done a lot of searching but unable to find any news about EOL for STB's, only modems. (Comcrap)

I have an old recorded Auth from this box that worked before.
Don't know if this Auth will still work, pulled this dusty box off the shelf.
Also unable to change the ID from remote.
