Please go into your unit and find out what motherboard version that your 2224 is. There are six (6) different types of Boards - non PH Old Board, and the CR4 are inside BIG rectangular chassis. The PH 6,7,8 and 9 are in boxes that are a little more compact. Go and purchase the BDM (Backround Debug Mode) Tool from the Shopping Tab. Sixty bucks - a very versatile Tool. Try to get a Local copy of the NVRAM so that the Channel Map will be the same. For starters, go into the Diagnostics Menu - turn the unit off using the Power button and quickly hit the OK/Select button immediately thereafter. Go onto the First Page, at the top you'll see if you have any errors. If you're E00 (no errors) and are still Not Authorized everywhere else, you'll need fresh Keys and will need to put the box on Account if you have one. I would strongly recommend going into the Archive and begin to read - this shit will make ya feel creepy in the beginning until ya plug that BDM into the Board and begin experimenting with the reprogramming. It takes a little while to pay your dues - have patience. It gets to be a lot of fun when ya Restore the first few units.
