Was not able to find a channel 96 in the files that were sent
So I'm still looking


A good way to request files for your particular area

1. http://www.zipmap.net/
2. http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/tv-listings

Use Zipmap to locate your towns Zip Code
Then enter your Zip in Comcast and locate you TVGN (Guide channel)

e.g. Request for DCT700 nvram ch18 - 60638

You will save everyone a lot of headaches

Hate to read but it does work. (sometimes)
I double checked and there is two (2) channel 96's for Chicago Land Area.
1. Chicago 60638 1,4 and 5 Digital Channel 96
2. Oak Lawn 60453 Oak Lawn Digital Channel 96 (Chicago suburb)

Drove me nuts with Oak Lawn box not working.

So I still need channel 96 but for Oak Lawn IL

use the chicago ch 96 then hook up the box in oaklawn and put it on ch 3 and let it play it should map itself to oaklawn area i've done this myself it only took about 5 min's to go from s0a00 to playing.this also worked going to/from area 5 southside chicago to south sub's homewood headend area

It might work with a 700 never tried)but not with a 2400 box
I have one in Oak Lawn (Prov box) for two months now
It will not update to the Oak Lawn TVGN

I could try with the 700 box, but I don't like the bigger box which I would get stuck with.
