I just dug out my ER-X , and discovered i had put 2.0 on it ...ricktendo wrote:@bingo600 DO NOT INSTALL v2 this firmware has been pulled for the ER-X due to too many issues
It behaved a bit strange , and the dashboard was showing NADA ....
I ssh'ed into it and selected the "old 1.10.x" image , and did a reboot ....
The router was "unresponsive after that" ....
I thought damm (but i have an USBJTAG , and there will be support soon).
I decided to try a "Reset" , and held the button in for a loooooong time (like 60 secs).
After the reboot , it came alive w, the default config.
Guess i was luky
But i have strong confidence in USBBDM , to make a recovery for the ER-X

After played this device for a while, I found some inconsistent result, the scan chain has 5 JTAG device in series, the MIPS core is on the second. Some time I can access the core but some time it failed.
If I use the bit clocking (not use USB JTAG NT directly), I can get to the core 100%.
When using USB JTAG NT, I cannot get 100%. Maybe there is some noise that exist and I am still fighting with it.
I will try hard again.
