this modem has a win-bond: chip 25Q128FVFG
i been trying to read it of the board , and i get fffff with jtag NT
but when i remove it from the board and i read it again with NT using a soic Pomona i could read it with no problem , 16mb that's what im getting i don't know if its the correct flash because im using the 6120 scrip ,
why is it that i cant read it in when is solder in the board?

The Dump you posed on last thread is Not a Good Backup. Don't try writing it back or you will Brick the Modem.

The model number of the flash indicates it is a 16MB Flash.
Detect and Read as a DPC3000 Would be the first thing I would Try and see if after ready you get a good compare.
