You need to specify what CPU it uses. Does it comes with JTAG port?
If like Nanp 2 or Nano premium then it is supported. You can find video on youtube how I did for those two boxes.

Interesting, Ijust found it is STi based CPU. I am not sure if it is similar to Extreamview 3300. I had also done JTAG for that box.

The picture is of low quality. I see JTAG port. I think this is similar to 3300.

I can only say it has JTAG port. I have not tested myself but I think it is not hard to add support to it.

8meg

Post by slugworth »

I wouldn't even think about erasing the flash until I had a 100% verified good backup made.
You realize that the magnum has a 4meg flash and your receiver 8meg?
Id code all ff's means the jtag connection is wired wrong.
It should be the same as the magnum 20pin to 14pin adapter.

Very bad move if he does not even have IDCODE right. Make sure backup is right. Never do erase or program until you are 100% sure.

that's a reading, but not even clear leaves and it is clear you must first schedule a backup save.

You need to make your own. 14 pin jumper will do the job.
When doing ARM, I made a 14 pin to 20 pin from an old IDE cable. Quite reliable. I will make one for DCU too.

I made my own out of an old mfm hardrive data cable and 14pin header.
The old macintosh computers that had a floppy drive use a 20pin cable for the floppy drive,if you have any of those antiques around.
