Linksys WRT54G V1.1

Post by Kristova »

Hello usbbdm, I am in the process of backing up two Linksys routers before I put DD-WRT onto them and the first one has this error code. Could you please add support for this in usbjtagnt or tell me if it is user error ;)

usbjtagnt console output...setting selected = WRT54G4M...

-detect
IDCODE 0471017F
Broadcom BCM4702
IMPCODE 26D36D32
EJTAG V2.6
DMA not supoorted
Unknown flash type!
Report these two value to http://www.usbjtag.com/vbforum 0ffb,37e1

As ever thank you for your assistance, Kristova.

Which router is this? I believe something is not right. I mean the xml you select is not right. Could be the IR length. If it is WRT54G I believe it should natually supported. It is not the flash.xml that is not right. It is the WRT54G4M that you select does not match your router.

Hello usbbdm, I apologise for leaving out that vital piece of info :)

The model is WRT54G v1.1 - 4MB Flash and 16MB RAM, apparently. That is why I used the "WRT54G4M" setting from your drop down router menu. I shall retry every WRT selection but sure I have already done this and had similar error every time.

Regards, Kristova.

OK, select 4M is right. Is your router bricked? If yes try to select the JTAG speed of 3M and see if you get something different.
