I accidently programed a dct 2244 with 400000 200000 instead of 406000 ba000. now its dead anyway to recover from this?

If you have the backup you should be OK. If not find the same model and copy from it.

i have nvram and code backup is that what u mean? b/c i tried this

Can you check if it is valid? Like all 00s or ffs are not valid backup.

ill try again, i know its valid b/c i have used it before. should i program it to 406000 ba000?

If the box is bricked you need to program 400000 200000

when i try and restore a nvram and code from one 2244 to another 2244 should i use these commands?
reset 1
init
flshdct code
ldram nvram
ldram code
setram nvram
program 406000 ba000

because when i do it this way my dct flashes 6Er 1
any ideas im stumped???????

i have been im trying man its confusing at first, im suprised i know how to do what im already doing. thanks for the help thats what forums are for

Your comannds Is the Problem. Try in order I describe and whould work well.
Let me know how it goes. Sorry for seaming Harsh but most problems Newbies have is Mostly due to Lack of Reading. There so Eager to get going that they tend to skip the Most Important part witch is Reading Before Applying. Also the Most common thing is Thay Fail to Make a Back Up before testing then find themselfs with a Bricked Modem Or Cable Box With No way to Flash back to Original State. I sure Hope this is Not the Case with You.
