USBBDM please help!

Use USB JTAG NT on VOIP device so we can unlock the device or configure the device.

USBBDM please help!

Post by jrockow »

I have been fighting this problem off-and-on for more than a year.

I'm working with an ARRIS TM502g voip modem
If I slow program (3000000Hz) the bricked unit it seems to load the boot file OK.
If I immediately do an SCMPRAM it shows OK.

But after a modem power reset the firmware always reverts to the same garbage I started with.
The bottom line seems to be I can't ERASE or WRITE to the device.

I first posted about this 2 years ago. (Arris brick!)
I tried the suggestions given at the time.

I can't think of anything else I can do on my own.
Perhaps sometime you could do the Teamviewer thing and take a look.

Thanx!

I can help you but we do not have a lot of time left before I go on vacation.
If scmpram was OK then you should be able to get to TRAP ON. Make sure your boot is a good backup first.

Well be back after Feb 14. I bet your backup of boot is bad.

At this point I'm not sure of anything, but to the best of my knowledge it's the same backup file I used to revive another modem, which I have been using for weeks without any problem.
