Christ! He's gonna need some serious support in the Intensive Care unit of the local Aria Health Center. Where did that renegade box come from? Ethiopia? It's completely wiped and I'll bet it's E00 - no errors. Hey, Mr. Guy - do ya know CPR ? This guy's gonna need Teamviewer ASAP. Damn!

Freeze Frame
Yes, Sir! I've sort of blended into the backround but when this good citizen from Philly requested a NVRAM for this unit, I put him on the right track. I'm gonna pony up the $60. and get a new toy (BDM) . Can you fake an ID from a good DCT 700 onto a DCT 2224 like mine? Often wondered that. I would've thought it needed to be specific to another 2224/2244 already on the Comcast computer.Goodday!

ok...well just keep trying to get the box to detect. keep trying by unplugging the jtag(without power) and plugging it back then try to detect...you might get lucky and get a good ID on the box...once you do your golden, then you can get in and program it properly...but getting it to detect will be the hard part for you,,..just keep tryin different things ..you might get itKevvKev wrote:Me Think Me F---ked It up..........

Bricks
Somebody should tell Kev that these Prehistoric boxes are virtually impossible to irrepairably brick. On face value it appears to be a Paperweight but, truth be known, he's gotta load up a few of those Registers and that paperweight should light up and come to life with a good Backup. Somebody tell that lad to Read until the eyeballs pop from their sockets. My God, I'm still doing research to this day. Which conclusively proves that I don't know spit about Testing. That's where Mr. Guy and Al Capone provide very valued service. And, the Boss comes out at nite and puts direct attention via TeamViewer and there's no biggie here - a simple issue for The Man. Somebody tell him not to sweat the details. Goodday!
