Interesting work here but kinda difficult to replicate at least from my point of view. Copius amounts of coffee does not make for steady hands!

Amazed the result.
The so called new chip should be able to crack. Slightly different in protocol.
The SPI captured by him is the exactly the same that can be captured with BDM or JTAG on DCT700.

next step is we need to log the stream just like they did with powervu and then crack it to get the des key , we also a ird that can be programmed with a new script that does what powervu does but for cable. 2017 should be a nice year for some CABLE TV

the link you post is for powervu sat , not cable.

we need to see if we can do anything that they can do with powervu to get data from the ts file.
