Works quite well without ISP pin.

Will you post a pinout diagram, like for instance where do you connect Hold and WP pins to?

I have always used the extenal 3.3 method and I have never needed to connect hold and wp.

I pull HOLD and WP pin high and it seems to work. I do not try without HOLD and WP pin.
On datasheet WP means write protection which means if it pulls low it cannot be erased or programmed. HOLD also prevent to erase.

I don't know what that means, you connect them to ground?

Connect them to 3.3v. That is critical and it is in datasheet.

I am having issues understanding this too... so, 3 pins will be connected to 3.3v?

I have used this same method, but lately I have noticed that what I was once able to read and write, can no longer be detected.
